Two of your no doubters didnt even start playing until the middle part of the decade they cannot be on an all decade team when they didnt play the whole decade. And NO juicers belong on any best of team so you can take off Bonds and Clemens especially since this decade was when those two were juicing.

Id agree with Mauer Pujols and Ortiz if we have to have a DH Id likely agree with Utley if he puts up another solid season but I like the idea of Soriano at 2B as well and they would have about equal time at the position… Heres how Id deal with the rest of it:

1st Id move ARod to SS since he was a great SS and played 4 full seasons there this decade which is just as much as Utley has played at 2B.

This opens up 3B for perhaps the best 3B of alltime Chipper Jones.

Then Id say you need a LF CF and RF instead of just 3 OFs:

LF based on stats alone Id have to go with Bonds but I wouldnt argue against ManRam

CF taking into consideration the importance of defense at this position Id say Carlos Beltran with Andruw Jones a very close runnerup and honorable mention to Jim Edmonds and Torii Hunter… two years ago this wouldnt have even been close Andruw wouldve run away with it but he has really tanked since then.

RF is the biggest nobrainer perhaps the best pure hitter in baseball over the last decade Ichiro Suzuki

Obviously no real arguments with Mariano Rivera so well get that outta the way.

Now for the starting 5:

Randy Johnsons 3 Cy Youngs in the decade clinch his spot
Johan Santanas 2 Cy Youngs clinch his spot.
Pedro Martinez is without a doubt deserving of a spot despite his recent health.
Tim Hudsons 135 wins put him on my list right now but since hes likely out for all of the next season he could get passed.
Lastly since a 5th starter needs to be versatile and maybe pitch out of the bullpen come playoff time Im going with one of the best postseason pitchers in history John Smoltz 154 Saves and 53 wins this decade including 3 years with 40 saves and 3 years with 14 wins and he hasnt had a season ERA above 3.49.

There are some other people who could challenge for Hudsons spot including Greg Maddux Andy Pettite Schilling Oswalt and Halladay but I wouldnt include Clemens. Rogers 00s success is based primarily on selfishness which significantly hurt his teams.
