What does testicular cancer look like?
Jun
18
2009
My boyfriend told me yesterday that he is going to the doctor this week for a a red hard bump on his testicle that seemingly gets redder as time goes on. He said its small and kinda looks like some sort of large zit but has veins running to it. He said that he feels a lil bit of discomfort. Hes young and scared about testicular cancer is there anything else that his bump might be other than cancer?

This sounds like either a sebaceous cyst or perhaps a varacocele a varacose vein affecting the testes.
From what youve said id guess its a sebaceous cyst an infection or impaction of a sweat gland. The veins probably look more noticable because of skinswelling and the resulting tightening of the skin in the area of the affected gland.
It sounds very unlikely that this is a malignancy cancer of any kind.
Best wishes.
