I am not a coffee drinker or familiar with coffee at all. So I have a couple questions about the terms used when ordering coffee.i want to know how to froth milk for cafe latte?

I can understand that not being a regular coffee drinker you are not used to strong coffee. The best thing is to ask for a mild coffee these coffee beans are mild due to their type and duration of roasting. Another option is to take a decaf coffee this way you dont feel the effects of caffeine. Also as you already mentioned you can drink latte or cappuccino as milk also reduces the bitterness. And the of course and sugar this also reduces the bitter taste that coffee.
