No more than 2 days especially if you didnt cook it right away to begin with. If any doubt no eat it.

you can usually keep it about 3 or 4 days depending on how well its covered… Keep it in the package It came in and put that into a freezer bag and try and squish all the air out of the bag…

Sorry Chef Chris your out voted on this one doesnt matter how much you down rate people 2 days maybe three max if freshly ground before me most supermarket ground beef may have been sitting a day day and a half already in open fridge displays then add your time. 2 days would be tops.

Actually Chef Chris is closest to the correct answer. According to the Food Code you can keep UNCOOKED hamburger for up to 2 days and COOKED hamburger up to 5 days if it is stored properly.
As far as meat from the supermarket which is were 95 get their meat from there is a expiration date on all meats. That is the date that the store is NOT allowed to sell after due to it being uncooked. That is also why you can not keep fresh uncooked meat longer because the store held it for so many days before you purchased it. That has nothing to do with the time you may store cooked meat as you are cooking the bacteria out of it. If you still have doubts about how long you can keep it contact your local health department and ask for a copy of the Food Code. They have to supply one to anyone who asks for it.

No more than 2 days. Smell it if it smells bad DO NOT use it.
