Preheat oven to 300 degree F 150 degrees C.
Cut each full rack of ribs in half so that you have 4 half racks. Sprinkle salt and pepper more pepper than salt and 1 tablespoon chili pepper over meat. Wrap each half rack in aluminum foil. Bake for 2 1/2 hours.
Meanwhile heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir the onions in oil for 5 minutes. Stir in water tomato paste vinegar brown sugar honey and Worcestershire sauce. Season with 2 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper liquid smoke whiskey garlic powder paprika onion powder dark molasses and 1/2 tablespoon ground chili pepper. Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat. Simmer for 1 1/4 hours uncovered or until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and set sauce aside.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Remove the ribs from the oven and let stand 10 minutes. Remove the racks from the foil and place on the grill. Grill the ribs for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Brush sauce on the ribs while theyre grilling just before you serve them adding it too early will burn it.

BS to other answer. To BBQ you have to have a pit. Even one of those little ones at Lowes or Home Depot. Absent this we have dug a slit trench and put a grill rack down. Build a hickory fire and slow cook. If the fire is low enough you can cook anywhere from four to twelve hours believe it or not. Any other method is shake and bake or just go get some frozen ones from Applebees.

best results is to marinate them over night in apple juice….In a zip lock bag…But before you put them in marinade you want to tenderize them like 2 to 3 hours..With meat tenderizer..Then add to the apple juice…Put in bag and pour over ribs till it cover them let marinade over night so good…temp that very with your grill and Would start out like cooking a steak just keep an eye own them….and if the heat is right and is not burning …You dont want to turn to off ton..Get a bottle of original hunts B.B.q.sauce and add to it 1 lemon…squeeze the juice into b b q sauce…add 1 fourth cup of sugar stir altogether warm up own stove till sauce gets heated up when meat is close to done you want to start to add your b b q sauce to the ribs…and let it cook own the ribs until they are done…basting often with the b b q sauce until meat is done then you want to turn off hear to as low as it will go and let meat set for 7 to 10 Mins and um good….God bless and happy holidays..
