A few weeks ago news started circulating that Rebecca would be leaving the show early next year. Rebecca and ABC have not jointly confirmed nor has Rebecca spoken out about it.

It is sad she sent out bulletins on her myspace earlier today. I did not like the recast Greenlee.so I hope they dont go that route again. It is kind of a rip off for her to only come back for a year but I guess I will take what I can get

So I guess this means original Greenlee leaves Pine Valley in March and a recast yet another one resurfaces sometime in Aoril 2009 or such.

I can understand her wanting to come back to the role she created.
I cant really understand bailing after one year. It does seem like a rip off to the fans get used to her leaving get used to her recast push the recast out of the way for her to come back….I feel like a yoyo.
Honestly what has her husband Bob got going out on the West coast that they cant relocate for a few more yearsshe says she is a New Yorker at heart.
I wish her luck in whatever she pursues though……

maybe they will kill her off or find a new actress to play greenly. i will miss her although i have bashed her character on soaps up

I think shes very selfish. She knew when she took the job itd be difficult to do. If her roots are now in CA she should have stayed there. Im glad shes leaving and dont care how. Sabine Singh was just getting into the role and doing a decent job when Buddig wanted back. So yeah I think Rebecca is a spoiled selfish girl.

Maybe Greenlee can crossover to GH? Becky will be able to film in LA and still have her fan base. Shed probably add some spice to GH too. Oooohhh…Greenlee could be fashion editor at Crimson with her eyes on Jax. Maxie would hate her Kate would think shes trying to take her job and Carly would hate that shes taking her man Perfect

Forget Guza…GH needs to hire me as head writer
