WordPress.org selfhosted is excellent. It is also very easy to use.
As to feedback the amount of discourse you get on your blog will depend on your content and how well you present it.

It really doesnt matter where you host it. What matters is your content and if its good youll get followers. If you suck you wont. Simple as that.

I recommend Bukisa and Triond because these sites pay you every time your post is being read and viewed by other people.

feedback? do you mean like traffic and hits and comments and whatnot?
well anyways I used wordpress for a while and its really great. Its quite difficult to understand but once youve gotten that down its actually really good. otherwise i reccomend blogspot which is really easy and tumblr which is one of my personal favourites because its really hassle free and its really quick to do everything.
