I need to choose between these two programs for work. Basically I need to be able to enter a professional looking text, re-size an image, change the quality of the image, and save it for the web. I am not interested too much in changing colors and basically changing the picture by changing the texture and such I want to be able to use the picture to put next to stories at www.insideindianabusiness.com Maybe take a look at the kind of look I am talking about.

My computer’s been nagging me for months to do a system update, and I finally did it today.
It took forever, and after it was done it wanted to restart.

When it started up again and got to the desktop, everything that normally pops up did, along with something new.

For some reason, the Command Prompt popped up too. It’s rather annoying, just for the simple fact that it’s one more thing I have to close upon start up.

Can you tell me how to stop it from popping up? I might need a little walking through this, since I’m no computer expert. ^^;
There… is no cmd.exe on the list. D:

How do you make a poll that updates the mysql table and displays the new score without having to refresh the page? Would it be with Ajax and PHP?

You will need both PHP and javascript (for the Ajax query).

The easiest way to do this is to create the functions in PHP, and then use a javascript library like jQuery, or Dojo to easily make the ajax query and run the functions.

The first source listed is a tutorial I found for PHP and jQuery.
